I am selling my baskets throughout Southwestern Ontario this summer. As usual, you can find my baskets at Pelee Art Works during the summer months. If you are interested in purchasing a hand-made basket, please message me through my contact page.
2026 Shows/Workshops
Saturday, April 18, 2026 – Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guild workshop, Chatham. Ontario.
I will teach a diagonally-plaited basket using vinyl measuring tapes with a Japanese rim for the Guild in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. This workshop is for beginner students. Students will learn the technique of a diagonal plait weave, meaning the tension is equal throughout the basket. You will learn to lay out a square base, plait the sides and lash the rim to secure the basket. Basket size: base = 10 cm x 10 cm; height = 10 cm; opening = 11 cm dia. . The basket is the perfect size for sewing or quilting notions. Perfect gift!

Saturday, June 7 & Sunday, June 8, 2026 – Art in the Park, Windsor, Ontario.
I am very excited to be participating in Art in the Park this year again! This is one of the biggest weekend craft events in Essex County, located in the beautiful and historic Willistead Manor grounds in Walkerville. Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15, 2026 – Beaches Arts and Crafts, Kew Gardens, Toronto, Ontario.
Take a break from the FIFA hype. Come on down to picturesque Kew Gardens! Browse and purchase lovely handmade arts, crafts and food. This is my first time at this show and I am looking forward to this weekend. I will bring a variety of baskets, in a variety of materials and at various price points to the show. Saturday, August 1, 2026 – Art on the Boulevard, Erieau, Ontario, Canada. This is a great outdoor event…on a tree-lined, one-kilometer boulevard in the centre of Erieau, a quaint fishing port and village. Saturday, October 24, 2026 – Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guild workshop, Chatham. Ontario. 
I will teach a rainbow melon basket with fancy handle for the Guild in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. If you have never woven a rib basket before, this is the workshop for you! Learn all the basics: securing the hoops using four-point lashing, placing ribs and creating the round shape. If time allows, cover the oak handle with a fancy weave using caning.
